Bonds reportedly among those tested

 

According to a broadcast report, Barry Bonds, along with a number of of his teammates, was tested Wednesday for performance-enhancing drugs.

 

According to the report, a Major League Baseball laboratory technician showed up nannounced to conduct urine tests on Bonds and several of his teammates.

 

It was the first time Bonds had been tested this season. Under the new agreement between MLB and the players union on performance-enhancing drugs, players can be tested up to five times a year.

 

This was the second time this year that the Giants have had players tested. The first time came in spring training.

 

Others tested Wednesday at San Francisco's home field, SBC Park, included shortstop Omar Vizquel and pitchers Jason Christiansen, Kirk Rueter and Tyler Walker.

No way. The Bonds haters will make excuses why he passed or just come up with some outrageous claim for something. They will never give the man his credit and to them he hit over 700 HR and stole over 500 bases without any skill.

The urine test will only detect some of the roids and it won't most likely detect traces of previous use.

 

How come only minor leaguers or low profile players have been caught under this testing? It is naive to think that not one of these super stars haven't jiuced

Steroid piss tests don't test for HGH and just because roids don't show up now doesn't mean he didn't take them in the past. I find it hard to believe working out increases the size of one's head, especially when you're 35+ years old.

Give me some blood test results that say he's clean, and things are different.
