Posted June 1, 200519 yr There are no words in the English language to describe how low I feel right now. The Marlins have been throwing away every blessing and blowing every game in every way imaginable. Three homeruns tonight, and a loss... How does that happen? Two fielding errors... I think it is time to start cutting players' paychecks and use the money to pay for the new stadium.
June 1, 200519 yr Louie's error was a fluke thing that you'll probably never, ever see him do again. Nate Bump blowing the game, well it's not the first time and certainly won't be the last. We lost this game because Jack mis-managed the bullpen again, period. You can blame Nate Bump for giving up that bomb, but he shouldn't have been in the game in the first place.
June 1, 200519 yr Things are going to even out, you watch. The Marlins are in a skid right now, just like they had a hot streak like a week and a half ago. When we start to go on a tear we can all leap for joy again...and it will happen.
June 1, 200519 yr Well, I rather have the Marlins struggle now when the Braves are struggling then when the Braves are hot. Â Â I really like Mikey but I want Jack to FREE DILLON! :wee
June 1, 200519 yr it is funny. everytime our relievers loose a game, it is mismanagement of the bullpen. save you idiotic reasoning for someone else, Accord. Â We lost...Tough shitze. Wed is another day!

Wed is another day! 790966 Yes, because everyone was saying how the bullpen was mismanaged when Todd Jones lost the game the other night . Save your opinion for someone who actually gives a damn.

I really like Mikey but I want Jack to FREE DILLON! :wee 790962 Yeah, i dont get it.. they let Dillon hit a few times, and they got good results. Lowell is performing poor. So the solution is to continue to bench Dillon? :mischief2
June 1, 200519 yr Jack will live and die with Lowell out there.  Lowell will get days off, but will be back on the line-up very quickly. That's Jack management style.
June 1, 200519 yr lets ask accord what he thinks? life in baseball is you pay a guy $6-8mil, he deserves the chance to work his way out. He has earned the respect. Every team has the same situation as some point during the season and continue to play them. (ex: Thome, Burrell (2yrs ago), Chipper.. Now would I trade him, prolly yes and No, not play the Dillon nor Willy
June 1, 200519 yr Author Well, I rather have the Marlins struggle now when the Braves are struggling then when the Braves are hot. Â Â I really like Mikey but I want Jack to FREE DILLON! :wee 790962Â I couldn't agree with you more. I am definitely thankful that the Marlins are stinking now while the Braves are stinking. I'd hate to see the Braves just pull away right now. I think that would be more disheartening to the Marlins if they did. I know we will come out of this slump eventually, but when we do, I hope we have one hellish winning streak or something. Also, I like Dillon too. I want to see him play more.
June 1, 200519 yr Author Also, I can't see why everyone is being so hard on Bump. That homer was a fluke. It happens. I was surprised to see Riedling get out of the inning so quickly. But hey, every pitcher has their up and down days. I usually feel pretty safe when Bump is in. Mecir and Riedling usually make me a little nervous.
June 1, 200519 yr That game is really making me nervous. It isn't over yet. 791013 :wee  Game Over!
