We shouldn't trade two guys who are hitting a manly .200 and .259, and in the case of both Lowell and Pierre, their "games" are no longer present. Lowell has 2 HR's and an overwhelming .327 slugging, and Pierre's been caught 6 times in 15 steal attempts. Yet we should trade one of the premier left handed bats in all of baseball, who happens to be leading the team in HR's and RBI, and is slugging a hefty .579? If you're saying we should deal Delgado to get something in return, then you should be OK with dealing Encarnacion who is ridiculously overachieving, and who's exit would open the way for the acquisition or promotion of premium offensive talent.
