YES!!! I stand by what I say this team is NOT good enough to win this division. One big trade will put this team over the top of all others in this division

I think we could use another solid starter like Mark Redman, but as far as the offense goes the pieces are there, but their just not performing right now. Willingham needs to be given a chance to see if he can provide a boost to this offense. I just can't see a trade involving a big bat coming this way being possible financially.

I think a few minor additions will really help this team. I know every team goes through slumps, but this has gotten a bit out of hand.

Yes, and someone will most probably be traded, Mota.

Jack is so pissed at Mota as is Mota at Jack. I don't think they can remain on the same team.

Also, Robinson has a great lineup to work with but he's doesn't seem to be helping them. So he might also leave...

And if Mike Lowell's slump continues, we may be forced to trade him as well.

How about trading Lowell and Mota for someone who can make a tremendous impact on the team? Bring Cabs to 3B and put Willingham in LF. Conine in RF and have him switch with Enc if he isn't traded. If not trade him as well . :confused

shut up, you don't even know what was said. People are making too much of this incident. Mota will be fine.

Trade Delgado.

[29.17%] of you people who said were not going to be ok.. wow..were not even half way threw the season..now thats being fickle

nobody wants any of our bad players u guys r crazy if u think some teams is gonna give us something good for Leiter or Lowell

florida fans think like football fans....any time there's a loss, or a losing streak, they think it's the end of the season. baseball is a game of averages, and averages take time to even themselves out. remember how bad the braves hit to start out last season? their record in may and june was 26-29, and they were hitting so bad that Randy Johnson threw a perfect game against them on May 18th. the braves' team batting average in May was .240. they ended up winning the division by 10 games.

my point is that, as badly as we're playing, we're still at the point of the season where stats are relatively meaningless. aramis ramirez was hitting .226 for the season on May 26th, basically a week ago. 8 games later - 8 games! - he's hitting .271. as horribly as Lowell has played, he is still only four or five more 3-3 games from being right back at his career average. we're not seeing a team that doesn't have what it takes, we're seeing a team in an incredibly bad slump. the worst thing we can do in that situation is panic. let's leave the rash, regrettable moves for the morons like Steinbrenner.

Lesse the White Sox would give us a lot for Lowell. So there goes that theory.

There's always room for improvement, ALWAYS, but this team, as is, has enough talent to contend. Minor tweaks should be enough, and getting everyone healthy (Alfonseca, Valdez, Spooney) should be huge.

I'd like to see some improvememts made, namely the rotation - the only position where our injury and performance concerns outmatch our depth, but since biggest problems are fan favorites Lowell and Pierre I would give it time to pass.

I don't think anything major needs to be done.

Lowell and Pierre will be just fine, and the line up will catch fire.

We need some solid relief pitching and another starter.
