I still LOVE the Marlins

Featured Replies

I have faith in this team...so what its been a bad two weeks...the team has had some defensive breakdowns (which I feel has been the most troubling thing about the team)...they have had some bad breaks go against them...this team needs to around .500 come late July and then make a move...get all the bad play out of them...this team has players that are in some BAD slumps to say the least...NO MATTER WHAT I still Love this team...I loved them in 1998 and I loved them in June of 2003 when no one thought we had shot...I loved them in 2003 when they lost to Boston 25-8...I LOVE this team...Baseball is marathon not a sprint...the Braves last year were horrible the first couple months of the year and then went on a tear...It CAN happen it HAS happened...I cant stress this enough I LOVE THIS TEAM, NO MATTER WHAT !

My message to all the fans that wanna give up hope, wants to blame everyone STFU !

how about you stfu?

we can blame who we want

that doesnt make us any less of a fan

enough of this sentimental BS. we all love this team but they look like complete horseshit right now and are playing with no passion

WE WOULDN'T BE HERE if we didn't love the team just as much as you. So no, we'll say whatever we want to. Telling fans to "STFU" because they are frustrated is incredibly childish on your part. We'll say what we want, when we want. If you don't like it, I guess that's just too bad.

I cant wait for the cream fest when this team wins 9 of 11...do what you guys want I dont care...its funny how just a couple weeks ago people here were laughing at Phillies fans for what they wrote on their board...its funny that you guys sound just like them

Everyone is talking bad about the Marlins but they're still going to continue watching the Marlins play and continue following them.

And you know why?

Because you guys love them.

Bingo.

I love the Marlins and always will, I have been through a lot worse times with the Fish than this little losing streak we're on right now and this stretch of 2 wins in 10 games pales in comparison to some of the incredibly horrible seasons in our teams history.

I guess it's times like this where you can really see th e difference between the diehard fans and the bandwagoners.

i guess we tip our cap and call the Nats our daddy, thats why there 162 games so you can F`uck up alot and still be in the hunt

Last time I checked a win in June counted the same as a win in September.

There is no such thing as getting all the bad luck out of the way early.

You either perform consistently or you sit during the post season. Simple as that.

2003 Marlins didnt perform consistently, or well in Late May/Early June.

Exactly, and that is when we lost the NL East lead.

And they didnt sit in the post season...so how is your point valid?

The Marlins and their fans are like a marriage. We stick together for better or for worse. And I vow to honor that commitment. :)

I was referring to 2004. In 2003 yes the team struggled early, but then played the best ball in the bigs for the next 4 months.
