He drifts and misplays a ton of balls, but that doesn't get you charged with an error. I know I've said "God damn it Juan" a whole lot this year, and those misplays against the Braves in Atlanta (and the inside the park three run home run) spring to mind.

Actually, if you got your head out of your ass, you might know they don't charge an error when a ball is lost in the sun unless the player actually touches the ball. Errors are largely a judgement call by the official scorer.

So now you've gone from saying it's an error to saying it's often an error. The fact is, it's a judgment call by the scorer. The example cited of an outfielder not moving for 162 games was clearly hyperbole and not to be taken literally. I'm sorry you are unable to grasp this basic point.
