Lets do some analysis of the sked till the end of the regular season. @ St. Louis: Moderate (2-1) @ Milwaukee: Easy (3-0) vs. Los Angeles: Moderate (3-1) vs. San Diego: Easy (3-0) @ Colorado: Moderately Difficult (2-1) @ San Francisco: Difficult (1-2) @ Pittsburgh: Easy (3-0) vs. Montreal: Moderate (3-1) vs. Pittsburgh: Easy (3-0) @ San Juan: Moderate (2-1) @ New York: Easy (3-0) @ Philadelphia: Moderately Difficult (2-1) @ Atlanta: Moderate (3-1) vs. Philadelphia: Moderately Difficult (2-1) vs. New York: Easy (3-0) Those are my predictions for the rest of the season. We should go 40-13 according to my estimates and end up with a record of 99-63, that is steep, but will get us the wildcard. We are currently 59-50 after 109 games.
August 2, 200323 yr well, I'm pretty sure we're not going to do that well, but it's something to shoot for in each series.
August 2, 200323 yr Author We have about a 66% winning percentage in this recent run against winning teams, we are going to play a schedule that is less demanding and asking for a 75% winning percentage isn't that big considering we do well against the Mets, Expos, Pirates, Brewers, Rockies, Padres, Braves, and the Phillies.
August 2, 200323 yr Author edit that number, it has to be 40-13 and a .750 winning percentage. In July we went 17-7 or .708 winning percentage against some pretty tough teams. check our records against the teams I named above in the last three years and see how we have done.
August 2, 200323 yr Author you are being utterly ridiculous so what! you would have said i would have been nuts if we went over .700 in a win percentage in July. Check the MArlins record against those teams and see who has the advantage.
August 2, 200323 yr Author Pirates Not played yet, but we went 5-1 last year I believe Mets 8-7 .533 but we played them early on when we struggled. Expos 7-5 .583 sweep in Montreal hurt us Brewers 5-1 .833 Rockies 2-1 .666 Padres 2-1 .666 Braves 6-5 .545 Phillies 7-4 .636 Total 37-24 .606 Winning percentage this season not including Pirates since we haven't played them yet. Not too shabby against thos teams.
August 2, 200323 yr nobody can predict anything, because the games hav to be played one by one and we gotta see how it goes...but u cant get upset at wat the man thinks.....hey u never how many games we might win
August 2, 200323 yr Author I'm just saying that we have played very well in July with what was thought to be the stretch of teams that would put us away for the season, and now we have the "easier" stretch ahead of us and must take advantage.
August 2, 200323 yr I think that if the marlins win every series from now on. They will make the playoffs. Thats all they have to do. If they lose a series they would have to make it up by sweeping the next team.
August 2, 200323 yr My Predictions (note: i just edited it a little because I really don't want my expectations to be too high.) vs. Houston: (1-1) @ St. Louis: (1-2) @ Milwaukee: (2-1) vs. Los Angeles: (2-2) vs. San Diego: (3-0) @ Colorado: (1-2) @ San Francisco: (1-2) @ Pittsburgh: (2-1) vs. Montreal: (3-1) vs. Pittsburgh: (3-0) @ San Juan: (1-2) @ New York: (2-1) vs. Atlanta: (1-2) @ Philadelphia: (2-1) @ Atlanta: (2-2) vs. Philadelphia: (2-1) vs. New York: (2-1) 31-22 Final Record: 90-72
August 2, 200323 yr My Predictions: vs. Houston: (2-0) @ St. Louis: (1-2) @ Milwaukee: (2-1) vs. Los Angeles: (2-2) vs. San Diego: (3-0) @ Colorado: (1-2) @ San Francisco: (1-2) @ Pittsburgh: (2-1) vs. Montreal: (3-1) vs. Pittsburgh:(3-0) @ San Juan: (1-2) @ New York: (2-1) vs. Atlanta: (2-1) @ Philadelphia: (2-1) @ Atlanta: (2-2) vs. Philadelphia: (2-1) vs. New York: (2-1) 33-20 Final Record: 92-70 ^^ same here !
