August 2, 200323 yr Who cares if its a sinker or a 2 seamer. He's still getting the job done. LoL, very true... But he needs to KEEP getting the job done. Has anybody realized that we actually have 4 rookies on this team!?
August 2, 200323 yr I'm not a pitcher, and I know AJHeat100MPH is. I don't know the grips of all the pitches. Just the basic 4-seam and curve and slider. BUT, Bump's 2-seam fastball does not break the same way a normal sinker does. I understand your point it doesnt really break like sinker but it has a little bit of downward movement even though it has more movement going inside a right handed hitter....

August 2, 200323 yr As far as I'm concerned, he could throw a eufus pitch as long as he throws them for strikes nine out of ten times
