June 30, 200521 yr Last year during one of Atlanta's Slumps towards the end of the season my friend (whose a huge BRAVES fan) said u just wait till a big game...thats when we will hit our stride. Well i feel like this was the beginning of our stride towards the playoffs? I think the players have confidence with one another that if they get in one of the extra inning battles a player whose recieving alot of criticism or any player in paticular (CABS is another who caried his weight in the most expensive metal ever) can help pull through. June 30, 200521 yr I have mixed feelings about this game. Sure it was nice to see the win. But the game clearly should have been won several times earlier. This is a very frustrating team to watch. They have so much trouble just doing the little things right.

I don't think you can say we're gonna be out of an offensive slump after finally scoring on that crappy Braves bullpen after a gazillion failed chances. Hopefully we can remain just good enough to be around 6 over at the all-star break and take it from there in the 2nd half.
