PitchingWinsGames
I was playing MVP baseball the other day in old Tiger Stadium with the Reds... Armando Benitez threw a high fastball to Adam Dunn which I proceeded to jump all over and hit OUT of Tiger Stadium, similar to the '71 Reggie Jackson shot, but clearing the press box by a good 10 feet the only thing is, the distance meter didn't even pop up, so now I'm wondering, How far was that bomb? Michael
Well, if Reggie Jacksons was over 500 feet then, if it cleared it, maybe 550 or somethin..
PitchingWinsGames
I do know that Reggie Jackson's Homerun was 520'... but I figure that since it was actually unobstructed... and maybe add another 10' to the pinnacle of the height... I dunno, their is probably some strange math to it?
GiambiNYY25Fan
I have never seen a 500+ HR during a regular game in MVP
JJ24
i hit one 617 out of wrigley with Delgado. The ball cleared the stadium and sailed into the City and the meter went to 617' i was watching it waiting for it to stop and was amazed.
Marlins2k3Champs
Losing 3-1 to the Devil Rays @ Tropicana I hit a GS with Pierre in the Top of the 9th to win 5-3. How awosme.
Iowa
I hit one tonight 483 with Marcus Thames of all people... off Pettitte in Minute Maid. That's probably my longest. Â I usually blast them good with Burnitz. He's my favorite player on the game
Rune
Depends on what park you're in. I've hit some monsters that can't clear 400 because of signs and other obstructions. The longest one off the top of the head I can remember is 490.

Iowa
What level are you playing on? 560 or 570? I don't believe it.
GiambiNYY25Fan
im the yankees in a dynasty so i have those upper decks that will stop the balls from traveling..... they are bombs but they fall into the seats and it stops at like 370!!!! Guest Moneyball
Once with A Rod at Coors Field with the wind blowing out at it's highest setting I hit a 630ft. bomb to LCF. Cleared the top of the Coor Field scoreboard.

That distance estimate has to be an estimate of how far it would have gone without it being obstructed. If I remember correctly these distances are the distance without being obstructed. QuickGold
I miss the error in MVP 2004 where you'd pop out foul near the dugout and it'd be a homerun

TSwift25
I've hit 2 500+ shots in the regular season, but they have to be in old ballparks, mine were at Fenway and Wrigley.
