Admin
If he gets released on waivers should we try to compete for him and sign him? He can be had for the league minimum or close to it.

rferry
What does he add that we don't already ahve in Damion Easley? Oh, we keep him away from another team? Well, that's reason enough.
Admin
Well for one, since Boone is a proven vetern, Jack wouldn't be as hesitant to putting him in the game. Plus if we had him and Castillo and another position player needed rest on the same day, it'd free up Easley to play that other position. El Guapo
Bret Boone is done........ he was a good player but now that he can't juice up anymore he will at most a guy off the bench.......
oktoberfest
We would need Boone and a lifetime supplies of steroids to make sure he could preform half as well as Easley.
Mark3611
Why would we need another over the hill geezer cluttering up our roster when we already struggle to get everybody (especially the young guys) adequate playing time?
JJ24
i bet the team that picks up Boone will be playing in october.

Valyekrin
I'm sure that Bret Boone is only looking to go to a team where he will start, even though his numbers are down, for a 2nd baseman they are pretty decent, but we really don't need him our bench is fine. The_Punisher
This guy was mentioned in Jose Canseco's book, "juiced", as a big steroid juicer, so nooo, absolutely not, B2 shots are being checked for, no chance he gets signed by anybody. MarlinsFan253
Jose Canseco is a piece of crap. I wish his wife had rammed him off the road instead of the other way around.

Good thing teams arent as Dumb as you or this great game of baseball would be without great players such as Rafiel Palmiero etc.

rferry
No. A player should be rated on his on-field ability. His ability to fit into a clubhouse or community can easily be fixed.
