Guest Fritz
I'm a sucker for cheesy Michael Bay action flicks so I'll see it.
Mark
Scarlet Johannson is gorgeous. And it doesn't look like a bad movie, although I'm usually not into any of those Micheal Bay action ones.

GiambiNYY25Fan
It was just another one of those B horror movies like Wrong Turn and Cabin Fever.... I didn't think this movie was bad, but it was a whole lot of running away and explosions and a long movie. The camera angles and shots also weren't the greatest

Rune
Saw it yesterday, despite the bad reviews I figured I'd give it a go. Don't look down if you don't want to see spoilers. I thought it was really good at the start, up till Steve Buscemi got killed I thought it was going to be an enjoyable movie. Then mile wide plot holes appeared and it became one big pile of crap. Really lame and non sensical action sequences and bad acting. I also have to ask, when they first got out, Lincoln didn't know what a bar was. A day later he outsmarted one of the world's best bounty hunters into killing the real Lincoln. Huh? It was illogical stuff like that that really ruined this movie. Plus the ending was really lame. The moment where all the clones got out looked foolish. The stupid white jumpsuits and pumas you honestly thought you were watching the heavens gate rather than a group of clones. Good start, terrible ending I give it a C-
D-Train35
Well, I saw The Island and I must say I really enjoyed it. 871973[/snapback] Me too. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate movies that are character-driven, but this is a story-driven movie-- at its finest. While I have lots of criticisms, including most of what Rune said, it didn't bother me. I still thought the movie was very sleek, had exciting action (even if it was pointless and not entirely original), featured some of my favorite actors (even though there wasn't much acting), and I was entertained. Get out to the theaters and see it! *** out of ****
Passion
Well....I had high hopes for this movie....and I was dissapointed. The start of the film seemed to set up an in-depth thought provoking futuristic drama.....I was left with a movie that dragged on way too long and had a lame ending that seemed to be rushed and tied up because the movie was already over 2 hours. So much potential.... :thumbdown
