Admin
It's likely this kid could get another shot if injurys to Beckett persist and if Leiter continues to struggle. Appearantly his breaking pitches is what got this kid the starts last season, he just couldnt locate them. Maybe a little extended work with Wiley could get him to be able to locate those pitches and be effective at the MLB level this season. Beinfest4Prez
Oh god no. Let him develop more. He has issues at the ML level right now. Don't put more pressure on the kid.

TRESOP
But that is what the call ups are for...to see if someone can step up to the plate and do the job that they are assigned to do....last year Logan was away from baseball for some 3 weeks and called up....this year he was a starter and converted to a reliever...big difference on the arm throwing on a day or two of rest when you are used to 4-5 days of rest....he is a good pitcher and will be back believe me
Ramp
he is going back to relieving, no?
WildMarlinMan2003
No way. Vargas and Johnson would be better options than Kensing.
IrishHarrington
I havent been impressed the several times i have seen him pitch , granted he is young but even young pitchers with talent show flashes of what they are capable of when they struggle he didnt show much to me. IMO he looks like another Nate Bump calibre pitcher good minor leaguer but not going to amount to much in the pro's...doesnt have great stuff or great movement on his pitches didnt show great control unless you count those middle of the plater belt high 90mph fastballs that were crushed that he routinely threw......fringe major leaguer at best
Admin
He came up from Single-A after time off last year and now this year up from AA but in a different role (starter - reliever). I don't think it's fair to say he's a fringe major leaguer yet but that's just my opinion.
