The 2003 Marlins because they had a lot of heart and NOBODY picked them to beat the yankees in the world series they shocked the world

Is this about which team you liked more or which team was better? The 97 club was built to win a championship and nothing less, so performance wise 97. Which team did I like better? 03 of course, no egos.

 

Also, beating the Yankees > beating the Indians.

I think they gave up on Richie Sexson too.

I liked the 2003 marlins much better then the 1997 marlins. The 2003 playoffs and world series were much more exciting! and had a better feel to it, I also think the 2003 marlin players had a better atitude then the 1997 marlins. When I think of the good old marlin days, I dont think of the 1997 marlins, I think of the 2003 marlins. Especially in september and october.

The 2003 Marlins were by far the most exciting to see win it all.

03' is my favorite. They had a ton of come back wins all season long. The play at the plate against San Fran, Gonzo's blast to beat the Yanks, shutting up the Cubbie fans in their house, shutting up Yankee fans in our house.....03' was just good times, good times.

2003 is a direct result of the '97 team. 2003 all the way! :thumbup
