Posted August 10, 200321 yr Now don't get me wrong, I love the Fish. I bleed teal ok. But this kid that came out tonight was SMOKIN!!! No hitter, Grand Slam, 15K.....by the same 12 yr old kid. Awesome. Who gets the nod in the morn?
August 10, 200321 yr I honestly haven't cared much about the LLWS, considering the Marlins are in the hunt for the Wild Card. A bunch of 12 year olds playing baseball on ESPN is nothing compared to the Marlins right now.
August 10, 200321 yr A bunch of 12 year olds playing baseball on ESPN is nothing compared to the Marlins right now. Especially when the field is only 200 FT. When I was 12, I played on a 275 FT. field. Now I gotta play on a 330, 390, 340 field... sigh...
August 10, 200321 yr stupid little bastards, i wouldnt be shocked if half of them are 30 year old midgets. LETS GO MARLINS!!!!
August 10, 200321 yr Palm Beach Post Front Page is Pretty Much The Little League World Seires game from espn....
August 10, 200321 yr Check the Sun-Sentinel sports front page. LLWS is a big thing, but couldn't they at least give the Marlins more than a side panel?
August 10, 200321 yr Miami herald gave the marlins a section on the side and the LLWS was on the inside only  Bobby Bowden made the cover of the sports section.  *shakes head in disgust*
August 10, 200321 yr I honestly haven't cared much about the LLWS, considering the Marlins are in the hunt for the Wild Card. Well they are the future of baseball....they deserve mroe credit than that
August 12, 200321 yr Well they are the future of baseball....they deserve mroe credit than that No, they really don't. Only a handful of LLWS players have actually made it to the majors (Gary Sheffield, Sean Burroughs). I doubt you will see any future major leaguers while you're watching.
