The Dolphins Are Horrible

Featured Replies

haha, it must have taken some major stamina to watch the marlins' meltdown and then follow it up with a helping of the dolphins' follies. don't you have like thirty tests on monday to study for?

but yeah, it's a miracle we only lost by 14 points. i guess that means we can hang our hats on the defense.

Yeah, I'm completely screwed. But that's not important right now...

Football is life.

And this is a surprise why? Just look at the roster. No QB, no OL, average receivers, and a trimmed down defense.

It takes more than a new coach and an 'exciting' running back to turn a football team around.

Take it from a miserable (but loyal nonetheless) Redskins fan.

Wow, our offense did poorly against arguably the best defense in the game. Not to mention we played it in slop. There will be growing pains. This is one of those pains.

We looked pretty bad against the Bears, and they aren't a team that will have a winning record.

EIGHT FUMBLES. I said SEVEN earlier, but we fumbled EIGHT times, and managed to lose the ball SEVEN of those times. FIVE lost fumbles in the first half alone.

It's a freaking miracle that we only lost by 14. A genuine miracle.

And let's not go blaming all EIGHT of those fumbles on the wonderful Steelers D.

To put this in statistical terms:

The Dolphins ran 62 plays. They fumbled on 13% of those plays. Not even Daunte Culpepper can touch those numbers.

It can only get better from here, though...

Potentially there are some very good QBs next draft.

There is the possibility that Vince Young, Omar Jacobs, Reggie McNeal, Matt Leinart, Chris Leak and Charlie Whitehurst are all in the draft next year.

Where is everyone talking abou how ricky is looking good again? He had a cool 5 carries for 9 yards.

Dolphins will proabably end up with 4 wins just like last year. you know things are bad when the GM is contacting Tim Couch 3 weeks before the opener

Couch is a vetern, and it's not like he would make the QB situation in Miami even worse, it's not like he is competing for playing time with Dan Marino, he is competing to be a backup with two other backups in Ferotte and Feeley.

why not give Couch a call?

I kind of agree with you. Couch got a bad label from Cleveland and then in Green Bay, where the thinking was "man, this guy is not even good enough to back up Favre, who never misses a single down", but alot of that was probably salary cap issues, why pay a guy like Couch $$ on potential when he will never play.

Giving Tim Couch a call? I'd try to work out a trade with the Panthers for Chris Weinke. Guys a pro bowl QB waiting to be unleashed.

Wow, haven't heard that name in a while. Seriously, the guy's probably older than Gus Ferrotte. Let's not waste any more draft picks on crappy QBs, especially not old men.

I'll pass. He's pretty old already.
