playing .722 baseball... it's about whichever team gets hot... it's also about how they play the other teams when they play them heads up in September too

 

I'm worried about Philly to be honest, with Madson, Urbina and Wagner... but again it all comes down to how you play them heads up.

I think if we went 16 games over the rest of the way we would win the NL East.

 

I'd say about 10-13 games over .500 the rest of the way to win the WC is my estimation.

It'll be interesting to see what happens in our series with the Astros. Most shutouts vs. team that has been shutout the most doesn't bode well for their lineup, but their pitching could hose down our lineup as well. I'm still the most worried about the Mets - I think they've got the best combination of hitting and starting pitching, if their bullpen can ever hold up.

 

Time to order some tickets for those four big series in Philly. I'll be cheering for whoever's under us in the standings while sporting my teal hat regardless of who's playing. Should be fun - anyway it's game time.

There's no way in hell we go 26-10 the rest of the way. Not against the teams we have to play. Good thing is, we won't need to do that. We're currently 7 games over .500 (I'm prematurely counting today). If we go 7 more games above .500 the rest of the way, we should be in good shape.

 

I think it'll take 88-90 wins.
