August 30, 200520 yr The Conman has been replaced by Tomko. Also, no Kerwin White sightings (that ain't right!). That being said, Edge/Matt was awesome. I didn't know where they were going and the match was so brutal by the end I was just waiting on the edge of my seat to see the finish. I can't wait to see where this goes. That main event put me to sleep. Twice. Worst main event they've had in awhile. I like Carlito, but learn how to wrestle, man!
August 30, 200520 yr Carlito's a decent wrestler but his mic skills alone make up for that. The dude is going to be a huge star. Edge/Matt was really good, basically everything you said with the match. However, the wwe really needs to stop trying to make everything seem like a shoot.
August 30, 200520 yr Havent watched wrestling in a few weeks as the storylines were getting a bit stale. But Edge-Hardy was so awesome even though the paramedics and the like got drug out a little too much for my taste. Now, the Angle-Cena bit got me pumped. I think Backlash will be the first PPV i buy since Royal Rumble like 4 years ago. Cena is a great showman and Angle is one of my favorite all around stars.

I like Jericho as a preformer but he isnt and will never be a legitimate contender to the title that people take seriously. Angle is a legitimate threat and a great heel.
August 30, 200520 yr RAW Thoughts: I thought Ashley showed some (decent) mic skills, and threw some nice punches. She's got promise....Cade cuts a pretty good promo in those vignettes. I just hope they start building a tag divison, because without decent opponents, these guys will just flounder....I'm surprised they gave so much time to the Hardy/Edge angle. Pretty intense brawl, and it could be argued that that's what they should've done at the PPV.... So is Tomko's new gimmick going to be that he knocks people out? Because if not, I don't really see the point of that match....Not a terrible main event, and I guess the writers decided they didn't want Michaels to break the masterlock and they didn't want him to tap to it either, so they switched things up.

Anyways, the guy's got the charisma only seen in the likes of the Rock or Stone Cold. He's that good on the mic. However, his wrestling ability... Well, it sucks. People seem to think he's going to get better, like Rock did, however, unlike Rock, Carlito has been wrestling all his life. His dad is a legend and helped to train him and yet... the guy is so mediocre in-ring. His moveset is almost yawn inducing.

For some reason he is not using it in the WWE, maybe Vince wants to give him some other image. I saw him from his beginings in Puerto Rico. And if Vince lets him wrestle in his element which is the aerial-risky style, he could be a huge star. His brother Eddie (not Guerrero) is actually better than him, unfortunatly is too small for WWE's taste.
