September 1, 200520 yr Sung to Pearl Jam: "Clearly I remember Cheering on the boy As he stepped up to the plate Oh, he unleashed a bullet Swung his bat and crushed it deep to right How could I forget? And he shocked us with a surprise slam The Cards left hurtin', ooh, jaws wide open Just like the day, oh, like the day I heard Brantley didn't give affection And the Fish was something ESPN wouldn't care King Jeremy the wicked, ruled his world Jeremy hit a grand slam today (3x) Woo (14x) Jeremy hit a..hit a... Jeremy hit a...grand slam today..." 924720 So would his nickname be "The boy" Jerey "The Boy" Hermida? 924867 Man-Child is taken... :mischief
September 1, 200520 yr AMAZING highlight of the night ... made the game worth going to (rain included) welcome to the club and hope to see a lot more from him
September 1, 200520 yr Did anyone see the video of tonights call/video from MLB.TV?? It was HORRIBLE. First of all it was the Cardinal announcers and they were totally un prepared. When Jeremy comes up to bat before they made the pitching change theres a huge silence and you can tell the announcers have no idea who the guy is!! LOL. Then when he hits the Grand Slam, they dont even know it is his first ever at bat!!! Just Horrible.
September 1, 200520 yr Hermida.. the bullpen traded 2 autographed balls to the fan that caught it 924889 wow, i'm surprised the fan gave the ball up...and I'm happy hermida was able to get it back.
September 1, 200520 yr That's a classy fan. 924919 Sure is. Either he had no idea what he had, or he didn't care.
September 1, 200520 yr I was already considering the #27 Hermida jersey...now it may just become reality.
