SS Gonzalez SP Willis with Conine and Lowell making spot starts...Treanor proving himself to be a HIGHLY capable backup...Easley backing up EVERYONE...Lenny having a strong year pinch hitting...and even Aguila with speed and solid defense to be plugged in wherever we need him....things looking good!!!
September 1, 200520 yr Author They bringing in Conine! W H Y ? ! ? ! I know Hermida is a lefty vs. lefty, but still..
September 1, 200520 yr Somebody's GOTTA link to the call from the Marlins radio and/or tv announcers for Hermida's HR.
September 1, 200520 yr Author JEREMY f***ING HERMIDA WITH A GRAND f***ING SLAM! -Roxy 924569 Seriously? If so, :lol Jeff Conine sucks (right now)..
September 1, 200520 yr Jack McKeon is officially on my s*** list now, WHAT A f***ING MORON. i thought this before Conine struck out btw, I really dont understand this guys thinking, just give the kid the AB's for christ sake what a f***wit. its not like he struck out in his first AB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
September 1, 200520 yr Author It's times like this I wish Lenny Casper was calling the game. 924599 Len Kasper :thumbup If you want him, go to Chicago and become a Cubs fan.
September 1, 200520 yr Mckeon had to take him out... :thumbdown 924524 McKeon should have let the kid hit again. Why not. He could have wiffed just as good as Conine. Or perhaps he would have brought some more magic to the team. McKeon has over managed this team many times this year and this is another example.

BAM! :o :plain :rock :keyboard :happydance :encore :elefant :drunks F*ing INSANE!!! 924401 how did she respond to the home run
September 1, 200520 yr I think we are in for an unpleasant surprise when Hermida doesn't start tomorrow.

September 1, 200520 yr Sung to Pearl Jam: "Clearly I remember Cheering on the boy As he stepped up to the plate Oh, he unleashed a bullet Swung his bat and crushed it deep to right How could I forget? And he shocked us with a surprise slam The Cards left hurtin', ooh, jaws wide open Just like the day, oh, like the day I heard Brantley didn't give affection And the Fish was something ESPN wouldn't care King Jeremy the wicked, ruled his world Jeremy hit a grand slam today (3x) Woo (14x) Jeremy hit a..hit a... Jeremy hit a...grand slam today..."
September 1, 200520 yr anybody watching bbtn? i don't normally bitch about this kind of stuff, but i'm seriously about to take a s*** on ESPN.
September 1, 200520 yr I was there, it was a great moment, but it just didn't have that same magic as the Lo Duca home run, I think it probably had something to do with the apathetic crowd. During the Lo Duca home run, the crowd was packed and was louder than the playoffs for a good 5 minutes after he hit it complete with a curtain call and everything, Hermida's HR just didn't have that same feel. BTW, anyone want to buy my ticket stub from tonight? :lol Just kidding, i'm not selling it.
