September 20, 200521 yr I live in Tally, and I want to watch the remaining games in the season. Is mlb.tv worth the 19.95 that they are charging (for the rest of the season AND the playoffs)? Does anyone else have it? Is the video quality good, and is it a legit promotion? Edit: turns out that the October games are only on MLB Radio... Still, are the final 12 games worth 20 bucks?
September 20, 200521 yr You are almost 100% in the blackout range for the Marlins. I think they extend the length of the entire state. Check before you do anything. And it's just like TV.

I am well outside of FSN market...That's why I would get this in the first place But does anyone have first-hand experience?? UC24, you said it's just like TV--the quality is clear? And where does the feed come from? FSN? edit: nm, I guess all of Florida 'is' blacked out. That's bizarre...
September 20, 200521 yr The feed comes from either/or, it's actually pretty random. It's crystal clear if you have broadband and doesn't take that much of the computer's power. You might want to type in your zip code to see if you are blacked out in the mlb.tv page.
September 20, 200521 yr I live over 4 hours from NYC and I can't get Mets games when they play the Marlins. The feed comes from wherever they can get it..home or away or even MLB.TV will carry their own feed if the need arises. The quality is very clear, if you have broadband. Sorry that you're blacked out. They are funny like that. You really have to be out of market. (Like, try to watch Marlins games while living in NY)
September 20, 200521 yr Author Are there any other ways to access the live feed?? I want to watch the games, but I can't see them up here in Tally
September 20, 200521 yr I like it.. I've had it the last couple years. ...except for the fact that I'm in the middle of blackout country. Cubs, White Sox, Cards, Royals, Twins and Brewers games are all blacked out in my area.

September 21, 200521 yr the Pirates for some stupid reason. 955633[/snapback] Blame the Pittsburgh Penguins

I only pay $15.95/month because of a promotion with RoadRunner High Speed for the All-Access....it's so worth it especially being away from Florida now.
September 21, 200521 yr Yeah, when I ordered MLB.TV they were offering Audio with it free, so I've got the radio for blackouts. Next year, I'm getting All Access, I want those condensed games badly.
