It can read Photoshop Project files, works with many layers, and can port many of the same filters. Best of all the cost is nothing. Give it a try, it is a free download. It gets 4 out of 5 Capeys.

October 4, 200520 yr the Gimp is great and especially since its open source it has more upside then the expensive bloated Photoshop been using the Gimp on my linux box for years now.
