I never root for ND and it showed me why today, they have no STONES. Hah! C'mon, man. Give me a break. Going with a Leinart sneak at the end? Man, nobody has the stones to do that (well, someone does, I'm just not used to seeing it). Throwing it all out there. That was just crazy. I luved it.

Well, actually the STONES-free Dave Wannstedt sorta did that with Fielder against the Raiders. The only thing I don't remember is if the play was designed or not.
October 16, 200521 yr On Leinart's fumble the ball should've been spotted at the 4-5 yard line, not the 1/2. In that regard ND got screwed, however, USC would've scored either way.
October 16, 200521 yr :banghead  :confused :banghead :banghead :banghead :banghead :banghead :banghead :mad :mad :o :o :thumbdown :thumbdown :thumbdown :banghead :banghead :banghead :plain :banghead This was probably the greatest game i have ever seen in my life and it was down to the end. i hate usc i will never ever apploud there efforts they can BURN IN HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL! ND defense sucks ass i mean they put 31 on the board and i dont care if these are the champs this defense needs work and hopefully they keep on recruiting these good defensive players. great effort by notre dame but the big plays that killed them were the 3 yd pass quinn failed to complete to schwapp which lead to a missed fg by fitzpatrick which doesnt mean much now because that pass woulda gotten them the 1st down and possibly a td later on in the drive. also i mean cmon!!!!!!!! its 4th and 9 one more stop and its the flippen ballgame and that huge pass play i think to smith was it? jarett? who cares....and then freakin that fag ball-room dancing loser leinart freakin fumbles the ball when he should have. this really sucks ass i wanna go do something really bad but i dont know what. those freakin condoms man i hate them! this loss will terroize me for the rest of the year though the irish should win every game for the rest of the season. ALSO!!! 2 more things.....wearing green was a bad choice i knew that was some kinda jinx and my freakin stupid brother jrhemi i told him to take off the icon because i told him it was a jinx. he added the ranking next to the picture of the leprechaun for the spartans game and look what happen and now he adds the icon and look what happens! :banghead :banghead also both of these are home games! how does ND go 4-0 on the road and 0-2 at home? ND PEOPLE!!!!! at home! i cant believe it!!! that freakin gator fan i brought him back in into beliving in the irish and he betrays me like this!!!! flip (
October 16, 200521 yr I'm going to get so flamed for this but I think Quinn will be a better QB in the NFL than Leinart.
October 16, 200521 yr I'm going to get so flamed for this but I think Quinn will be a better QB in the NFL than Leinart. Any reason why? I mean this in the nicest way possible, but that's ridiculously stupid.
October 16, 200521 yr I just have a quirky feeling, I don't know. I hope the best for both QB's but I like Quinn more. I don't know much about USC's offensive system but I think it benefits a lot more in college than NFL and Weis' system is proven in the NFL and Quinn thrives in it. I don't know, just a bold prediction.

I mean this in the nicest way possible, but that's ridiculously stupid. Not really. Leinart reminds me a lot of Chad Pennington and not in a good way. He doesn't have a lot of zip on the ball, he doesn't have a ton of arm strength, and his outrageous amount of supporting talent makes him look better than he is. I'd agree that Quinn has a better pro career than Leinart.
October 16, 200521 yr I'm going to get so flamed for this but I think Quinn will be a better QB in the NFL than Leinart. I dont know if either of them will be any good in the NFL. I do agree though that Quinn would make a better NFL QB. Leinart has no arm. The NFL will eat him up alive.
October 16, 200521 yr So who is the no. 1 pick next year? Bush? Some lineman? Since it's likely going to be either the Jets or Vikings or Niners with the #1, Bush is the likely pick.

October 16, 200521 yr Bush is going to be who we remember from this team. Leinart will be a good QB but he will never live up to the hype that's around him. As the commentators said Bush just reminds you of a Barry Sanders, every time he touches the ball he has the possibility of making something special happen.
October 16, 200521 yr I still think some NFL team will draft Leinart with a top 5 pick. Bush is the truth. He should win the Heisman and he should be a top pick in the draft. Remember that NFL teams draft busts all the time in the top 5.
October 16, 200521 yr Bush could be average also. Great speed but Trung Candidate also has speed. He can catch but nowadays a lot of running backs can catch also, I don't think there's a place for Bush to start in the NFL unless he was in a great system like the Colts.
October 16, 200521 yr Reggie Bush = Peter Warrick /discussion One of the most electrifying college players of the recent past, but he won't be able to do what he does in the NFL. Also, the guy has durability questions. He's never rushed for more than 20 carries in a game.

P.S. Bush had 20 carries against Oregon this year.
October 16, 200521 yr It all depends on who the team is. If it is the Jets, Vikes, or maybe even the Packers then probably Bush if it is the Texans then some lineman
October 16, 200521 yr IMO, Bush is one of those unique talents that should be taken #1 no matter who's picking. Great speed, great receiver, and he's been breaking ankles for a while now.
