Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Yep, I saw it tonight. I waited in line for a long time with some friends (we played cards while waiting, in fact). I didn't think that so many college students would come to see it...

Anyway, the movie overall was good. They skipped around a lot, and didn't show enough detail for certain events (the Tournament, the Quidditch Cup, Voldemort's return, etc) but they did manage to touch on everything. The acting was considerably better than the first three, and the visual effects were absolutely amazing.

I'm going to see it again on Wednesday with my girlfriend, so maybe I'll get a real feel for it.

We're gonna see it either tomorrow or Wednesday right after work.

It's definitely worth seeing...I was really surprised with the demeanor of Professor Dumbledorf...I'm not going to give it away, but he wasn't himself in this movie....It is the darkest movie so far and somewhat intruiging..I'll be doing a review later on.....

I thougt it was outstanding, and btw, Hermoine (sp?) is effin hot. No im not a pervert im 16 so its not like i like little girls since shes like 16 also lol. But honestly, that girl is smoking hot. I think im in love

Yeah, seriously. It wasnt um...the same in the book. That threw me off a little bit.

I liked the move but for me Part Three was way better. The book of book 4 is one of the best in the series though.

Goblet of Fire missed out good parts of the book, and the movie directors made Dumbledore look like if he is scared. Last i read Dumbledore was always calm and trusted Harry a WHOLE lot. That part when the name of Harry was popped out of the Goblet Dumbledore looked like if he was gonna kill Harry.

Great movie. My son got me to go with him. I haven't read the books so don't know what was missing. Many pieces were tied together....like Voldemort's accomplices and a bit more of Harry's past.

Now I can't wait for the next one to come out. :p

Ah, don't worry. I think Daniel Radcliffe (Harry) is such a cutie. If I was 16, I'd have a huge crush on him. :lol

I finally saw it. Wow. It was amazing. I did notice what you guys meant about Dumbledore. This one stayed pretty close to the book, which was great.

I saw it Friday night. Yeah, a lot of details of things were cut but it's hard to get all of that in in a movie. Everything was true to the book. It was, in my opinion, the best of the Harry Potter movies so far.

Not everything. They totally changed how things occured with Barty Crouch jr.

I didnt like this one, but maybe it was because I just read the books. Scenes just flew by and their was no depth to the character or their emotional development. It seemed forced. I think they cut have cut the dance scenes by half.

I agree that it felt like everything was pushed together. There were no 'breather' type scenes I guess.

I still really enjoyed this one though. Followed the book pretty well for a movie.
