Hugg
In a joint meeting today with the RAW and SmackDown rosters in the United Kingdom, in Sheffield, Vince McMahon announced that within the next several weeks, a new drug testing policy will be implemented in which performance enhancing drugs, such as steroids, etc., recreational drugs, as well as abuse of prescription drugs will be banned. In addition to the new drug testing procedure, there will also be an emphasis on cardiovascular examinations. The specifics of the drug policy will be announced over the next several weeks. More details to follow. Check with WWE.com for the latest information. So, Eddie's death really did wake this company up. It's about damn time they did this. Good to see. QuickGold
I would have thought they'd have done something about this back when Vince was charged with giving out roids back in the day
Hugg
They did. But it went away after he beat the charges. :lol
CardsJimEdmonds15
Interesting.. I just dont know about Vince being in charge of this thing. It sounds good but I'm not sure I believe this yet.. It would be nice though..
Hugg
http://www.wwe.com/content/media/video/494...0152/drugpolicy Video of his announcement to the roster. Vince isn't in charge of it. It's completely independent.
Das Texan
i'm shocked. i never thought they would actually do this, i always figured after the 80s that no matter what it would never die. ps does vince have to get tested also? Rune
About damn time... In related news, Batista, Edge, Masters, Snitzky, Benoit have all announced their retirement. But honestly this is great to hear, We must remember however that after the 94 fiasco, Vince also claimed to adopt a test tougher than the IOC's. He really followed up. Hugg
I honestly feel in today's climate, it'd be much harder for him to get away with announcing this and not following up. I could be crazy, but I think this is legit.
