December 1, 200520 yr Hello fellow Fish fans. I'm new here and found this website after searching for any news or rumors of what the Marlins would do next during this, their latest fire sale. Like many of you, I have found this whole episode to be extremely depressing. I used to think Loria was a great owner of the team, but it seems that we may end up cursing his name more than Huzienga's before all is said and done. Only time will tell. At any rate, I'll be sticking around for awhile and look forward to seeing more messages on this forum.

The only thing that could help is go to the games and not just show up when there is playoff games. So all of us lets head out to the ball park :thumbup
December 2, 200520 yr Welcome to the boards! Yes, many of us our disappointed with losing the likes of Josh Beckett. The FO really blew this one as they had a chance to jettison Lowell last off-season. I believe most of us understand the reasons for trading away our high-priced talent. But alas that is the life of a Marlin fan. I'm glad to see they received several quality prospects in return and next year's team will be fun to watch, even if they don't have a winning season.
