If you noticed we lost Conine, Easley, Gonzalez, Castillo, Delgado and Lowell from our infield...we probably need some backups...if not starters. He does have some professional experience at 2B, 3B and 1B (although none at SS), perhaps he's another MLB minimum guy we could bring in to battle for what was Easley's job. Sounds like a poor man's Joe Dillon... :whistle Yeah, he hasn't proved to be anything special, just another journeyman type, but for $350,000, someone has to fill the role and if he shows enough in ST, to me it's just another name on the back of a uniform.
