Fishfan79
Most Valuable Player (MVP)-- Shaun Alexander RB Seattle Offensive Player of the Year (OPOY)-- Admin Johnson RB Defensive Player of the Year (DPOY)-- Zach Thomas LB (better stats then Urlacher and missed two games, plus in new system) Offensive Rookie of the Year (OROY)-- Cadillac Williams RB Tampa Defensive Rookie of the Year (DROY)-- Shawne Merriman Comeback Player of the Year-- Steve smith Coach of the year-- Nick Saban/ Lovie Smith split it. Both took horrible teams and made them great this year. 4-12 Fins to 9-7 and 6-10 Bears to 10-6- I believe Lovie will win easily though. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ More Categories: Asst. Coach of the Year-- Huston Houck- Took the last rated Offensive line and one of the worst in the History of football and made them top 5 against sacks. Also made took them fro mless then 2 yards per carry to over 4.5. That is an amazing turn aorund Quarterback of the Year-- Carson Palmer Running Back of the Year-- Tikki Barber (because Shawn gets MVP) Receiver of the Year-- Chad Johnson Offensive Lineman of the Year-- Walter Jones Defensive Lineman of the Year-- Derrick Burgess Linebacker of the Year-- Johnthan Vilma (because Zach gets DPOY) Defensive Back of the Year-- Sean Taylor Specialist of the Year (K/P)- Neil Rackers No I didnt put Urlacher up there because honestly his stats were worst then Vilma or Zach by a good margin. Yes he is a good player on a good defense but alot of other players there are keeping them going too. The two tackles leaders get the two awards for me. I expect Lovie to be coach of the year because the media loves him. There is no MVP besides Shaun in my eyes. He broke the TD record, was the rushing leader, sat a game worth too. Plus their entire offense is built around him.
