January 12, 200620 yr Better overall? Not even close. A better teammate and more unselfish? For sure. But Kobe is the best perimeter player in the NBA today skill wise, without a doubt.

Im not sure how much better a defender Kobe is than Wade, if he is it is marginal. Kobe only beats Wade in PPG, 3's per game everything else Wade does better. Remember assists turn into points.

I rather have Wade's stat line than Kobe's. I would say those are typical great stat lines for each super star. Meaning when these players have there outstanding games they tend to look this. Wade's game is way more complete than Kobes. In the playoffs I forget what Wade did but only Oscar Robertson and Magic had done it before...thats pretty friggin special.

January 12, 200620 yr Bryant has the best skills in the NBA. He just had his 45 point a game streak snapped, but still had 41. He's disgusting, and I can't stand the guy.

January 12, 200620 yr I think it's kinda foolish to compare Wade and Bryant's PPG when Bryant is taking 27 shots a game and Wade is taking 19. Wade is shooting at 47.7 clip while Bryant is shooting 44.3. Wade's a better rebounder, Bryant's a better defender. Wade is a better passer, although Kobe is quite good at it as well. Kobe clearly has more range, as Wade is garbage from beyond the arc (career 22%). Wade is 5th in the league in efficiency, Bryant is 9th. With all that said, I think Kobe is the better all-around player (barely), but I'd rather have Wade on my team any day. As for the best player, I'd take LeBron. I still can't believe he shooting 50% from the field, that's just ridiculous. All he has left to improve is his defensive game.

January 12, 200620 yr in 2 years Wade might be better then Kobe. Some things to note, the Miami Heat have told wade not to shoot 3s. Which is why he doesnt put them up like Kobe does. Kobe has a heck of alot better Defense then wade does by a huge margin. Wade is a better off the ball defender, where kobe is a lock down defender. Honestly wade is playing with shaq right now so no comparsion can really be made compared to kobe with kwane brown at center. give wade 2 years then lets judge k? But both are amazing young players.
January 12, 200620 yr wade is without a doubt a better basketball player than kobe kobe is without a doubt a more talented, more gifted, more dangerous talent kobe can do amazing things, but he just doesn't get the concept of team professional basketball the way that a guy like wade does ....... this makes wade (who has some serious talent as well) a better option in my opinion if i were a GM starting a team, i would choose wade over kobe in an instant ... he gets basketball

How is that comparison any better? its impossible to change someones size, but it is possible to change someones teammates Wade may be a nicer guy and less douche than Kobe, but Kobe is still better on the court
