Marlins National TV Schedule Developing

Featured Replies

Monday, April 24 @ Cubs 7:05 PM ESPN

Saturday, May 27 vs Mets 1:20 PM FOX

Saturday, July 8 @ Mets 1:20 PM FOX

Saturday, September 16 @ Braves 1:20 PM FOX

FOX could add an additional game or two possibly. ESPN could add many more too. That Chicago game on 4/24 should be a Monday Night Baseball showcase game.

Bet those national schedulers wish they had those dates back.

Not being mean, but let's be honest, the networks intended to showcase a completely different team than they got.

The schedule makers picked the schedules about 2 weeks ago.

I thought it was done when the schedules were made in September...?

ESPN gets 2 weeks notice along with FOX. They wanted those games period. Marlins are a big TV market with fans who will tune in. Notice 3 are road games which means huge ratings in Miami.

Oh the irony...

people here enjoy watching the marlins on tv, strangely though not as many go out. But the marlins are a great TV market last year.

.

Great. Three hours of Joe Buck and McCarver saying how much we suck as fans and how there are more Met fans at the Pro.

Naw...we'll probably get some nobody play by play guy and Tommy as the color man

One could also argue we have mostly away televised national games so the rest of the country doesnt have to see the 5 people in the stands at Joe Robbie.
