February 22, 200620 yr We're gonna get rolled. I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt I will be. I concur with the above statement. Our team wasn't even good on paper. I remember seeing the roster and responding with, "That's it!?" Plus, I love the fact that they keep showing that Miracle on Ice crap like there's any correlation between this team and that one besides the country they represent. That team had something this team doesn't, it's called heart.
February 22, 200620 yr I really wouldn't be surprised to see an upset. They have actually played pretty decent. The goaltending has been pretty decent. They create a ton of scoring chances, but don't cash in on many. I could see them putting it together for one game and getting an upset, but beyond that maybe they could get lucky and get the bronze.
February 22, 200620 yr Schneider GOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL 2-2 in the 2nd Does Schneider have two today???
February 22, 200620 yr Go Finland now....I want Nittymaki to do well and no other flyers to get hurt.
February 22, 200620 yr Hell of a game between Russia and Canada. Ovechkin is the best young player in hockey.
February 22, 200620 yr Canada is going home. What a crazy tournament. Oh and the future of hockey is bright, we've got legit superstars budding in Ovechkin, Crosby, Kovalchuk, and Nash.
February 23, 200620 yr "You'd think USA Hockey would be a well-oiled machine, but it's not," he said. "Basically we were on our own for hotels, tickets, flights, stuff like that. "Normally we wouldn't have to worry about stuff like that." Mike Modano. Guess they were sooo worried about accomdations they played like doodoo to go home early. Maybe next time we can put together a better club, hahn?
February 24, 200620 yr Canada is going home. What a crazy tournament. Oh and the future of hockey is bright, we've got legit superstars budding in Ovechkin, Crosby, Kovalchuk, and Nash. Lundqvist, Prucha

Lundqvist, Prucha Lundqvist yes. Prucha, you are pushing it. He is good but he is no where near the level of talent that Ovechkin, Crosby, Kovalchuk, and Nash are at. Hell if you are going to include Prucha, why not Zherdev, Horton. Why has no one mentioned Dion Phaneuf! That kid deserves Norris Cup consideration! Or Alexander Frolov. Or my boy Jay Bo! Or what about Eric Staal. You left out oh so many. And before I forget, Jussi Jokinen! There are so many I am forgetting...
February 25, 200620 yr my bro was at each game today..... said it was a great game and fun atmosphere
February 25, 200620 yr Author Oh man i'm really rooting for Finland to win the gold because of Olli Jokinen.
February 25, 200620 yr Oh man i'm really rooting for Finland to win the gold because of Olli Jokinen. That, and the fact they were the team to eliminate the US.

I'd put Staal and Prucha in that group with Ovechkin, Sidney, Kovalchuck, and Nash. The future of this league is very bright.
February 26, 200620 yr Congrats to King Henrik and Sweden. What a spectacular final 1:30. Lundqvist was out of his mind with some of those saves.
February 26, 200620 yr Wow. What an exciting third period. Congrats to Team Sweden! It was, congrats to Sweeden and Oli for getting a Silver
February 26, 200620 yr And the celebration in Sweden is on, listen to them Bork in unison: Bork bork bork! Bork bork bork! Bork bork bork! Bork bork bork!
February 26, 200620 yr Author Gotta feel bad for Olli. Sweden deserved it more though, Finland was totally flat for half the game.
