February 22, 200620 yr MOSS BLUFF, Florida (AP) -- A man was arrested and accused of fatally beating his roommate with hammers because there was no toilet paper in their home, police said. Franklin Paul Crow, 56, was charged Monday with homicide, according to a spokesman with the Marion County Sheriff's Office. Crow is accused in the death of Kenneth Matthews, 58, the spokesman said. Crow said he then began beating Matthews with the sledgehammer and claw hammer, according to an affidavit. Matthews was beaten so badly he had to be identified through his fingerprints, detectives said. Crow was being held at the Marion County jail without bond. It was not immediately known whether he had an attorney. There's a video of a confession on the website: http://www.cnn.com/2006/LAW/02/21/toilet.paper.ap/index.html

February 23, 200620 yr Holy sh*t, that sounds like one of those webpages that predict how you die - "You die when you're 58 years old, because there's no toilet paper in your house" :plain
February 23, 200620 yr I've had homicidal thoughts because my roommates leave garbage anywhere and everywhere, so I can see why this guy would kill his roommate over a lack of toilet paper.
February 23, 200620 yr What is this world coming to when you get killed over TP? :plain We're in deep sh*t. (Pun very, very intended)
