Marlins have a split-squad day Tuesday, with a pair of 1:05 p.m. ET games against the Nationals. At Roger Dean Stadium, Scott Olsen will start, with Washington going with Billy Traber. In the other game, at Viera, Ricky Nolasco draws a pitching assignment against Livan Hernandez.

 

 

Livan should be a good test for the kids. Nolasco looked dynamite last outing, let's see if he can keep it up.

 

Olsen's been terrific in ST thus far also.

Olsen gave up a hr to George Lombard and he also has his first 3 K's of the spring in two innings.

Hanley Ramirez had a leadoff single & stole 2nd.

so much for Olivo being a defensive wiz(2 errors today)

 

his error allows for 3 unearned runs off Renyel Pinto

 

then again, Pinto also gave up 3 hits in the inning, along with a walk

It has been a mixed performance by Olivo today.

At the plate he hit his 2nd HR of the Spring, but behind the plate he has had two errors and allowed a stolen base.
