March 18, 200620 yr Has been a pretty good game by the Cats. McLennan having a pretty solid game in net. Panthers were a little sloppy in the 3rd but Kolnik just had a terrific individual effort to regain the lead 3-2 with 4 minutes to play. Hang on guys! ---------- woot! empty netter for Gelinas, & the Cats take the game 4-2! I think that puts moves them up to 8 pts behind the 8th playoff spot. still a ways to go...
March 18, 200620 yr Nice to see them win after a let down against the Flyers. There is still hope! And yes! Finally my boy, JayBo, scored!
March 18, 200620 yr Was anyone else at the game? My heart stopped when Yashin apperantly tied the game with 50 seconds left...i didn't hear the whistle blow at ALL. Jamie had a nice game, but man do i get nervous in the last minute of play when he is in net (gave up the GWG vs dallas with 12 seconds left and vs PHI with 3 seconds left...)

We got really lucky when Yashin got caught offsides. (Even though I don't think it was offsides). Another good thing was that Jay got his first goal and Jaime got his first win.
March 18, 200620 yr Author Well I think most of the players heard the whistle, so by the time Yashin took the shot they had relaxed a little.
March 19, 200620 yr I was at the game and yeah, my heart stopped as well when that happened. When the PA announcer said "no goal", I was so happy. I knew it wasn't going to count since the goal light didn't flash. Max was like, "Noooo!" I am like, "That's not gonna count."
