I'd look to find some depth at pitching, perhaps shopping Barry Bonds around... initially anyways, it depends on how people have reacted to the steroid stories... they'll either be afraid to death to touch him, or go wild after his power numbers (or somewhere in the gray area)... anyways... either Brad Hawpe or Jeremy Hermida could make a fine replacement for Bonds, so why not shoot for pitching depth? Most of your backups (pitching wise) aren't totally proven, they have great upside... so, if you have to get rid of a pitcher, I'd probably suggest Capuano, Seo, or Chacin... but only if you manage to get another pitcher in return... thats my 2 cents

You need one dependable starting pitcher (maybe a Jake Peavy), and two great relievers. Shop around Barry like "pitchingwins" says, and make sure u get a top of the line starter and a guy who can hit for average in return (you'll have trouble in that depo).

great team..i'd ship barry/wilkerson/ellis to a team for a top-of-the-line starter and a decent position player..

 

btw...manny is really struggling, he's on my team too, he's killing me!
