Bowyer sent down

Featured Replies

Travis Bowyer was just sent down to AAA.....one more move in the bullpen coming soon.....

Im not surprised he needs to get a second pitch to go along with his fastball.

agreed with that....I spoke with Terry Ryan GM of the Twins and he told me what we all know...he needs a "spin" to go along with his fastball..he'll be ready mid season believe me...might take the place of one of the veterans mid season...time to start weeding out the veterans and bringing in the 2008 World Series team.....

I would tend to think Carlos Martinez will be sent to AA or AAA to get some innings in at that level before they throw him into the MLB mix....good arm there....

Yeah, despite being here for a while seemed to come out of nowhere. Doesn't he throw 2 good offspeed pitches to go along with his fastball.

I'd much rather see Bowyer get experience at the AAA level where he might not lose his confidence as quickly, becuase he needs some shaping up.
