Posted March 26, 200618 yr The Red Sox have placed second baseman Tony Graffanino on waivers. Graffanino was scheduled to make $2.05 million if the Sox didn't trade or waive him by Wednesday. The Mets, Cardinals, and Cubs could all have interest in the second baseman. Mar. 26 - 9:01 am et Source: Boston Globe May not be a bad idea and I think he could be signed for cheap.
March 26, 200618 yr I'm suprised we didn't get a deal done, we had one in place with Boston for Matos, but obviously the Pena deal broke that. He will be a good pickup for whoever gets him. I liked him in his short stay with us last year, very professional and he batted over .300.
March 27, 200618 yr yeah he does, too expensive for the marlins though but he is a good veteran to have on a contender
