April 18, 200620 yr We need to get a catcher big time, methinks. Although that one cat in Single A seems to be doing ok. if you mean gaby sanchez, he's playing 1B. He's from UM and was never really a catcher there either. He played mostly 3B, 1B and DH until he was kicked off the team and out of school. but yeah, he is hitting 400 with 7 or 8 HR's already. I'd love to see him get a call up in sept. and get his crack at our 1B gig next year, or even 3B if Miggie is traded Gaby is an awful fielder. Strong, but inaccurate/wild, arm. DH material.
