I was watching the VMA's and saw these "no names" (coldplay) take all these awards

 

i downloaded a couple of songs on Kazaa and really enjoyed them (to my surprise)

Their first album was great and A Rush is good but when I heard Justin Timberlake, I puked.

 

Plus The Scientist is not that great and if you want a good UK band, just go to Oasis.

No, I've heard of them but never really heard their songs. I have a set of bands and artists I listen too mainly Alt Rock.

Actually, I never did find The Smashing Pumpkins till 2000 when they were disbanded. They were my brothers faviorate band and I got my hands on of his cds and was hooked from there. Also you talk abou their gay videos? Is that why VHI had Tonight, Tonight in their list of the greatest video's ever made or their in numerous top 20's of greatest bands of all time?

Once again, what bands that still make music on that list are always on TRL.

 

The EElS, Ours, or The Supersuckers have never even seen MTV.

Smashing pumpkins were on TRL and everysingle countdown on MTV.

A. The Smashing Pumpkins were disbanded before TRL debuted, they were popular from 93 - 96 after that their next album bombed and the one after that.

 

The Smashing Pumpkins were big no doubt about it but in case you haven't noticed they died out and yet I still like them and I guess The Beetles sucked too because they were popular and The Doors, and The Rolling Stones they all sucked too because they were popular.
