May 16, 200620 yr I know the pitching is young, and sometimes young pitchers get hit hard, but there is no excuse for every warm bodied person who goes out to the mound to pile up walks like they are going out of style. All said, I myself put alot of the blame on Kranitz. He comes from an organization where young arms go to die. That should of been a red flag from the start. All said, why not try to reclaim the services of Mark Wiley? I mean, how many pitchers finally put it together and had seasons above and beyond their career norms last season?

May 16, 200620 yr He did visit with the Marlins organization when the Rockies were here during the last week of April. There was at least news article that talked about his visit, perhaps more.

May 16, 200620 yr we should of kept wiley, I have said that a few times. what he did with willis and beckett was great. It seems it was all undone. you dont fire a pitching coach that makes a pitcher into a Cy Young caliber pitcher!
