Weirdest day ever at tOSU

Featured Replies

So today was my last full-day of classes (potentally ever). And I had a full-day of weirdness.

1. I had to go to a job orientation in the morning. A part time, temporary, summer job. Typical b.s. So, the security gets up their to do their spiel, "no stealing, blah blah blah." Intro nonsense. Then he says, "No weapons or knives, whatsoever, are allowed on the property." And this guy, wearing a "Git 'R Dun: METAL!" shirt with a truck ramping, while smashing a truck beneath it; scratch that it was more like one truck was EJACULATING it's Metalness over another truck with the words "Git 'R Dunn:" at the top and "METAL!" beneath. So, this guy raises his hand.

Security dood: Yes?

Git 'R Dun: Man, you mean to tell me, I cain't bring any kindo' knife into work, man?

Security: That's right.

G.R.D: Man, not even a 3/4 bowie knife?

Security: No. So, anyways-

G.R.D: Hole up a minnit, man, I got questions! What about a belt knife?

Security: No. That's not acceptable and you could get fired?

G.R.D: Then what about a itty-bitty 'ittle pocket knife?

Security: No, you could get fired for that. But, we'll supply you with box cutters?

G.R.D: Box cutters? Can I take it home?

I mean, WHAT PLANET IS THIS GUY FROM!? No knives implies no knives whatsoever!

2. I went to sell my books back (for 10 dollars). And as I'm going through the oval, I cut through the center to hear one of the crazy-preacher dudes proseletyzing (sp?). Because that kind of thing makes me laugh. So, I see all these busters that are dressed real nice and have REALLY excellent grooming. Like, they were just too freaking pretty, both guys and girls. I'm like, "WTF is this, some gay crap!?" And the dudes all have these muscle shirts and are wearing "stylish" (-ly gay) plaid pants.

They're Abercrombie models asking people if they want to work as models part time. I overhear them going up to buff dudes and asking them if they want to work part time. I'm sorry, but if I'm a male, with any kind of self-respect, I'm not going to some college to tell other dudes they look good and they should come work with me.

3. A dood was dressed like a ninja on campus. Full on headgear, ninja pants and shirt and gloves, complete with bookbag and black chuck taylor sneaks. And he was sneaking around campus. I'm talking climbing into trees and dropping down and scaring people. He even stuck his head into our classroom in University Hall and then did a cartwheel down the hallway, then flipped back into the doorwar, put a finger to his lips to "Shhhhhh!" us and ran. He then proceeded to go outside, sneak around the building, climb onto the lowest tree branch of a tree. When the bus came he jumped off (more like almost fell off) and "snuck" onto the bus.

4. People set up a tightrope between trees on the oval and were walking on it.

LMAO :notworthy

Thats some funny sh*t dude. You could write a screen play about tOSU and this day and the producer would say its unrealistic.

I wish crazy/random stuff happened at FIU like that.

Yeah.

Made all the more surreal by the fact that I didn't go to best last night because I was writing a paper for today that got pushed back to Monday.

I've seem some weird stuff on campus, and there are DEFINITE campus characters, but today everything at once took the cake.

Yeah, it sucks. Hasn't been updated in forever.

Especially in light of the 15 or so bums who are characters in their own right. My favorite being the rapping bum, "Help is on the way!" I'll give that dude money even when I don't have any.

No, I mean, it's like incredibly mean. At least talk to those people before you typecast them.

Oh.

Who cares?! It's a bush-league website.

It's just funny because one or two of those guys (the angry professor and the gah kid who flat out sprints to class) are actually "famous." People know about them. Other than a few instances the site sucks.

Just consider it a Fitty joint on (other random no-talent act to be named later) on a HAYTE TRACK! You think he or Nas or any other rapper gets permission before they hate!? HECK NAW!

Well at FIU there's this guy that rides around the quad on his bike with headphones singing along in spanish to whatever it is he is listening to real loud. Just merrily riding around, going no where in particular. Dunno if he's still around but that guy was cool.

The Ninja guy is what made it.

The ninja guy cracked me up. LOL

At FIU, there was this guy that would go to all the football games. He would be in the stands, wearing his headphones, and dancing along to whatever he was listening to. Sometimes, he'd dance a little...erm... seductively. It was kinda gross but hilarious at the same time. He is usually all alone, since some people don't like to sit around him. Sometimes, some students get up and dance with him.

Here's a picture of him with some students.

I have seen him around at baseball games, when it's a big game. I think he was even on TV once. He was probably at a Marlins game or something.

I haven't seen him in a long while though.

First of all, 50 sucks and shouldn't be allowed to rap in the first place. :lol

But I see what you're saying.

You haven't seen crazy and weird until you spend a day at NYU.

Village freaks are on a whole different level.

crazy sh*t be happening to me but damn that ninja sh*t and the redneck sh*t's insane. :lol
