Nielsosky
What d'you think Carl Pavano should be doing in the postseason? Or d'you even think he should be in the postseason? I think he should be the long-relief man because, almost inevitably, one of our starters is going to be pulled early in the game. I think that we can't afford to let some one like Tejera pitch after our starter exits in the 4th. We will need someone that is a solid pitcher, although maybe not some one that we want starting games in the postseason.
RossInfoMan
I dont think Pavano will be starting in the Giants series, but its not unreasonable to think that he should. Carl has the only Marlins win against the Giants this season and pitched well against them in both of his starts, giving up 2 runs in 6 1/3 innings and then 2 runs in 7 innings. My guess is he'll have the same kind of role Tony Saunders had in 97-kind of as a second starter of the game, coming in if the starter struggles early on. That's what I meant when I said Long Relief Man. Anyway, I hope that's his role because he certainly has pitched well against SF.
AJBurnett34
Probally will be Long Relief/Bullpen. Red will be left in the rotation with the job he has done. Pavz is having a good season but Big Red is over .500 on his record of Wins and Losses. Anyways Pavz better get used to the Pen again with AJ Coming back the first 5 days of the season. McMillan Marlins
Saunders was a brave killer all season long. something like 4-0. Pavano only has 1 win against giants. it could be a fluke.
JMLinkinPark
Its either Long Relief or Starting... I heard Mckeon was just gonna go with his current rotation into the playoffs
rally2247
Pavano will be a cheerleader and a waterboy.
Das Texan
Pavano's last start will be Saturday.  Or is it tomorrow.  Whenever, his start this weekend will be his last for the year.   Pavs will be a long reliever primarily during the playoffs. I wouldnt be shocked to see Red get the call against tougher lefties in the first round at least....since you wont see him starting..or shouldnt.
