If anyone can tell me what version of the Rolling Stone's 'Gimme Shelter' (one of my favorite songs ever) is playing in the first half of the trailer I'd really appreciate it. I thought it might be a String Quartet adaptation but it is not on their Stones CD.

It's the London Symphony Orchestra and it's on the 'Symphonic Music of Rolling Stones" CD. As far as the movie goes, the concept is intriguing plus I like Clive Owen so I'm all for it.

August 25, 200619 yr It looks like, at least according to ComingSoon.net, this movie has been pushed back to a limited Christmas release from the end of September. No clue why.

Seeing as the Oscars have been pushed forward a month, late September translates to late October in past years. Essentially, the move crosses itself off any Oscar lists, and though it didn't have a very good hcnace of getting more than a nomination or two, it was an interesting dark horse.
August 25, 200619 yr Any chance that "Little Miss Sunshine" gets some Oscar noms? The whole process confuses me, especially the fact that many past nominees have come from films that were released just shortly before the Oscars in theaters.
September 25, 200619 yr Author From Quint @ AICN: I really liked this movie when I left the theater and the more it's gestated, the more I've really fallen in love with it. There's a message that's not beaten over our heads, it's multi-layered, the character and drama all have important things to say, but it's hidden in a viscerally thrilling and entertaining film. It's movies like CHILDREN OF MEN that make me love what cinema can be. You can read more here. It doesn't have spoilers so don't worry. He has little if anything negative to say about the film. Man I can't wait to see this.

November 13, 200619 yr I really liked it. I was expecting something completely different....and while the movie was somewhat slow at the beginning, it definitely picked up speed to the finish. And the finish itself leaves you kinda wanting more, although it's very fitting.
January 4, 200719 yr This movie is finally going to come out this weekend. I can't wait! In wide release? I hope so. I wanted to go over my Winter Break, but I guess I may have to wait.
