November 28, 200619 yr Good episode, nothing groundbreaking. Nice to see why some of the characters are how they are.. Nikki's background story was interesting. Sylar makes sense now, and it's awe-inspiring to think of all the abilities he has now. My guess is that the only one who can beat him is Peter.
November 28, 200619 yr Author Who do you think bites the dust? My guess is » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Isaac for obvious reasons. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « The fact that they showed him meeting Hiro in next week's episode makes me very certain that its him.
November 28, 200619 yr » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Ya the obvious choice would be either Isaac...Nathan has an outside shot I think.
November 30, 200619 yr Well, I finally saw the first 6 episodes on Sci-Fi. Wonderful show. I'm looking forward to episode 7 on Monday.
November 30, 200619 yr Author Well, I finally saw the first 6 episodes on Sci-Fi. Wonderful show. I'm looking forward to episode 7 on Monday. Episode 11 airs on Monday... or are you watching it on Sci-Fi?
November 30, 200619 yr This show has lived up to the hype. I remember watching the commercials months before it even started. I had no idea what some japanese guy stopping a clock had to do with being a hero.. I am addicted to this show... Am glad to see you all enjoy it as much as I do.. Anyone have any guesses as to which hero is going to die in the next episode? It might be the one mentioned above, but I'm not so sure..
November 30, 200619 yr If there is one untouchable character at this point, it's definitely Hiro (Peter and Claire too for what it's worth)
November 30, 200619 yr I was thinking it was Nikki's husband. They never did show what happened when she attempted to shoot him, did they?
December 1, 200619 yr I was thinking it was Nikki's husband. They never did show what happened when she attempted to shoot him, did they? two straight episodes they end with that scene and don't tell us anything. I hate that.

Welcome to television. I think you misunderstand (or something). Two weeks ago they ended with the cliffhanger of Nikki shooting at (apparently) DL Last week they ended with the same exact scene. Rarely, if ever, do shows leave the same exact cliffhanger for two straight weeks.

December 2, 200619 yr Well rarely do shows go back six months like that, it was a special case. my point remains, you are wrong. you lose. go back to ny u damned met fan. /drunk
December 5, 200619 yr Another jaw dropper. What a cliffhanger. I knew the one to die would be someone like that. I just don't get how Sylar could do that when he couldn't earlier with Claire's father. Peter is the bomb? WTF was that? I feel so awful, he's like the nicest guy on the show!!!! The second half of the season is going to be amazing. I'm really looking forward to it.
December 5, 200619 yr claire's fathers ability is blocking out other abilities Ya that makes sense. I just want to know what Mr. Hatian told Claire.
December 5, 200619 yr Author claire's fathers ability is blocking out other abilities Could still be the Hatian... he's been around HRG the whole time. What confuses me is that Nathan was able to use his power even though both of them were right in front of them.

What confuses me is that Nathan was able to use his power even though both of them were right in front of them. But the Hatian can't block other powers AND make people forget stuff. Regardless, Eden is kinda stupid to not realize she couldn't stop him from using powers without the 'blocker' there
December 5, 200619 yr But the Hatian can't block other powers AND make people forget stuff. Why not? HRG wasn't in the bar with Parkman when his power was blocked, just the Haitian guy was and that's the reason HRG had him hang around at the police dept. Regardless, Eden is kinda stupid to not realize she couldn't stop him from using powers without the 'blocker' there Agreed. She didn't think that one out well.
December 5, 200619 yr Great episode, though not as good as last week's. I was a little disappointed with the "cliffhanger", mostly because I just don't buy it. It's very hard for me to believe that Peter is the bomb. First, it would answer the main plotline question of the second half too directly. Moreover, it doesn't follow the M.O. of the show to declare anything as straightforwardly as that. Like Lost, Heroes perfers to be cryptic in releasing its information. I find the Nikki plotline to be the worst in the show. It doesn't follow with the pattern of the rest of the show to spend so much time on an individual character who has no apparent effect on the greater group. Especially a non-compelling character with a non-compelling storyline. I would have preferred if they would have wrapped up the first half by giving us a glimpse into Nikki's (and her family's) relationship to the Heroes. Claire's Dad, up to this point, has to be the best-written character. They've done such an excellent job of making the audience unsure of his true intentions. First, I was convinced he's evil and doesn't care about his daughter. Then, he's an essentially good character who loves his daughter. Now, I don't know what to think. He clearly loves Claire, but what would make the Haitian deviate from his orders? And even more interesting, what would be so compelling that the Haitian would be willing to break from his ruse of muteness? Sad to see Eden go, she was hot.

Sad to see Eden go, she was hot. maybe he absorbed the powers from the guy a few epsidoes before with the frying his unconcious wife and all. Not being able to control it at all, he then explodes? But I think there is alot of openings for how and why he gets the powers and if indeed the second time around he does indeed get them. I completely agree that claire's father is the most well written character. My favorite though is Hiro still, plus his blog rocks.

They showed him there on purpose...but regardless, that could really just be a clever My fave character, FWIW, is Peter. He's a lot like me...but with special abilities and really nice hair.
