October 25, 200619 yr Just caught the episode, and it was great yet again. I liked the interaction between Nathan Petrelli and Hiro. The flying was pretty bad ass too. Also, interesting to note--when future Hiro and Peter meet in the beginning of the episode, Hiro mentions (more than once I think) that 'they' were fighting in the future or something. It makes me believe that all the heroes get together and kind of form some 'group'. That makes the possibilities for this show so immense that you have to assume the storyline could go on for a very long time. PS---the existence of future Hiro suggests that the NY explosion went off as planned, and the heroes have become renegades against the opposing force. This begs the question that NOBODY really seems interested in: Who wants to blow up New York? I bet you he has glasses and has an African American companion that can "hollow" out someone's mind. It's my first guess, but I'm willing to bet that it's not that obvious. I mean, there have only been 5 episodes....Maybe it's Nikki's 'alter ego' THAT would be a very cool development. I'm still trying to decide whether there will be factions within the Heroes. There is already some discord between the Patrelli brothers, and Nathan has made a connection with Nikki whose powers seem violent and maybe malicious. Her negative traits seem to fit with Nathan's selfcenteredness, and both their traits seem at odds with the altruism of Peter, Hiro, and Isaac. If this were an RPG, I would categorize the characters as follows: Peter: Good Hiro: Good The Cop: Good Isaac: Neutral/Good Claire: Neutral/Good Nathan: Neutral/Evil Niki: Neutral/Evil Claire's Dad: Evil The Hollower: Evil Sylar: Evil Really? Niki and Nathan evil? What do you mean by neutral?
October 25, 200619 yr Good = Altruistic Neutral = Impartial, self-concerned Evil = Outwardly hostile In Nathan's case he was hostile towards Peter for his self-preservation. (When he threw Peter under the bus by saying he comitted suicide.) Niki's alter-ego certainly has a dark side, and I assume that her alter-ego is the one with the power at this point. If Niki becomes conscious of her power and can control her other personality, maybe she moves up the list.

I have a feeling the Indian guy is going to be some kind of guiding leader who sits in some headquarters and helps them. and how do you guys know the husband controls the blonde? 1. At this point, I don't think either of them have powers. Unless, the woman has some sort of subconscious attraction to those with powers. Maybe she has a latent ability to identify "Heroes". As for the Indian professor, I see him in a similar vane: someone who will help identify other "Heroes", altough he will use his biological expertise. 2. I think Lefty was just brainstorming. It's an interesting possibility, but there isn't enough evidence at this point for me to buy into that. i agree completly with point 1 but on your second point......remember when the blonde was leaving and decided not to go through with sleeping with the governor candidate, she was stopped by a guy in the elevator who told her to go back or he would kill her son......then her "alter ego" took over, kicked his ass and said "if you hurt OUR son, i'll kill you" key word being that she said "OUR", not my.....that gets me thinking that the husband is definetly controling her That's true, but it could be her alter-ego talking as well. If she has multiple personalities, both personalities could consider the boy her son. We know the alter-ego is aware of Niki, because it left specific intructions for Niki to follow. Therfore, even if the alter-ego is not the husband, it could still refer to the boy as "our" child. That's not to say her other personality is NOT her husband, I'm just not willing to admit that it is at this point. It is, however, certainly a viable theory and one I'm not willing to discount yet. good point, i didn't think of that

Interesting twist with the cheerleaders father hearing "save the cheerleader, save the world"....I'm sure he's been planning on killing her for a while. also, what was the deal with the "bio parents"....i didn't understand the exchange btwn them and the girls father.....were those fake bio parents????
October 31, 200619 yr I missed what happened at the end, my DVR cut out as well. The last thing I saw was Suresh's neighbor at the door to Isaac's house. When she asked what to do with the "pre-cog" (Isaac), Claire's dad told her to "bring him in". Is that all that happened. - The bio-parents were definitely fakes.

Kitty Pride, Rogue, Jean Grey/Prof X, Wolverine, etc. Yes I am kind of annoyed by that, but it's still a great show.

November 7, 200619 yr pretty good episode. two new heros are revealed. the burn guy (is it possible that maybe he has something to do with the explosion in NY city?? and Mika has some sort of electronic/static power or something, we suspected that he was prob a hero. no answers on what happened to Issac, still no clue on who skylar is, the Indian dude wasn't in this episode, there's a lot that still needs to happen. sucks for the policeman that his partner was nailing his wife.....maybe he gets with the FBI chick. also, my DVR cut the show off again. The last thing i heard was DL saying "were you just talking to your mom" was there anything else said after that??? thanks
