September 29, 200322 yr cgator, KISS Country picked up a country format different from WQAM's but they were co-owned and WQAM did do country for a while then gradually shifted to a rock/oldies format with some sports to all sports.
September 29, 200322 yr Eddie K tells it how it is, like most on QAM. And I find it hard to believe anyone on these boards could dislike Eddie K considering he's a great baseball head and probablly THE biggest Marlins fan. Eddie K. didn't start showing any like at all toward Florida 'till they got within 2 games of the playoffs, and he still doesn't show much like toward them. WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? Do you ever even listen to his show? SERIOUSLY... This guy is all about the Marlins, ALL THE TIME. Then again, you're only 14, so I doubt can even stay up to listen to him. forget it Mave, some people are too thin-skinned to allow for opinions that don't mirror their own. Eddie K has been begging for Marlins calls for 3 years now. If Cape and WildCard don't even think he's a Marlins fan then I won't waste the time. Still...I almost wonder if any of you have listened to sports talk radio in other cities. In virtually every single market, it's full of hosts who can be pretty highly critical of the local teams. Not to mention that they're paid to give their opinions. I find it really hard to believe that you're all so offended by this.
