Arnie1941
QAM's post game was disgusting. For example, Lowell got a hit, big deal, it was against a Met's pitcher. And "Anybody could have managed this team." These guys really suck. The Flagship. They make me puke.
Wild Card
We all hate WQAM. Nothing new.
Mave
Not to rain on everyone's parade, but I mean I am happy Lowell got in some at-bats today and was able to get a double, but it was against a Mets pitcher... We'll just have to see how he does against pitchers like schmidt in the playoffs...hopefully he can tear doubles off him And I enjoy QAM for the most part, especially Eddie K. CapeFish
Has been boycotting since WQAM turned All-Sports back in 1996. Why can't the Marlins move to 610 WIOD, 940 WRFX, or WAXY 790? Those are much more credible stations with much better signals than W-Puke-AM. WQAM should be yanked off the air.

Guest marlins02
i love Mandich everytime i get a chance to listen to him. the dude tells it how it is or at least how he feels. i cant stand 610, i have a problem with a station that refers to a Latin population increase in any part of the US as "The Browning of America"
CapeFish
Hey Arnie, Your lovely WJNA 640 (which covers all of South Florida with it's great signal) is trying to upgrades it's tower and signal. They want to move the tower to near the Palm Beach-Broward-Hendry County Border and pump up power from 7500 watts day/500 watts nights to 25000 watts day/night Possible new Marlins flagship? With that signal they can replace WQAM and WWCN all with one signal.

If the pitcher is in the majors, pitching against a playoff team, he's done something right. I mean, if Lowell hits his HR of Trachsel or Leiter or Glavine, do you say, "but it was a Mets pitcher."? NO. BTW: Eddie Kaplan is the worst of them all. He's the rudest man I have ever heard in my life. An "a**hole," if you will.

Mave
Eddie K tells it how it is, like most on QAM. And I find it hard to believe anyone on these boards could dislike Eddie K considering he's a great baseball head and probablly THE biggest Marlins fan. When the Marlins started in 1993 they were on "South Florida's Home for Country and the best Rockin' Oldies 56 WQAM, Home of those Florida Panthers and Marlins" That format is now on 99.9FM as Kiss Country. Mave, you are a minority in Miami. WQAM has lower ratings than WAXY for crying out loud! And WAXY airs Richard Simmons and other infomercials along with FIU sports. Do you ever even listen to his show? SERIOUSLY... This guy is all about the Marlins, ALL THE TIME. Then again, you're only 14, so I doubt can even stay up to listen to him. 'QAM doesn't let them because they are "competition" that the Marlins force WQAM to sell games to. WJNA's music pulls in better ratings in Miami when the Marlins are off than WQAM does with Eddie K. When the Marlins are on both stations ratings shoot through the roof.

CapeFish
marlins02 still has not provided me with the situation of which WIOD said the "browning of america" came from. Phil Hendrie? Todd Schnitt? Who was it? I know it wasn't Rush, cause he has the highest respect for hispanics seeing us as hard-working, honest people who are happy to be in United States and are family people.
