August 11, 200619 yr I have yet to hear anyone argue against Afghanistan. That was the battle that made the most sense. However, we almost went into Iraq BEFORE Afghanistan. Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz both wanted to attack Saddam first. Cheney as well. The question was for Jimmy.

August 11, 200619 yr Yep, turns out that it was a tip from the British Muslim community: LONDON, England (CNN) -- A British intelligence official has told CNN that the original information about a plot to down commercial jetliners in mid-Atlantic with explosives came from a tip from the Muslim community in Britain. The official said the tip resulted from a person who had been concerned about the activities of an acquaintance after the July 7 terror attacks in London. http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/europe/08/11...plot/index.html
August 11, 200619 yr Anyone who is caught about to commint a terrorist act, should be given the death penalty imo.
August 11, 200619 yr So these guys apparently made contact with an AQ operative in Pakistan. Perhaps someone can explain this to me--how is it that citizens of Britain can make contact with AQ in Pakistan, but we arent able to find and eradicate these operatives? This organization should no longer exist but somehow it still does.
August 11, 200619 yr OK FM you never answered my question, does this UK terror plot have anything t odo with Iraq in your opinion? Edit: No one responded but i didnt mean FM, I meant futuregm. FG then I suppose
