October 2, 200323 yr i remember when i was younger in Carol City my grandma would always say she would hear gunshots at night, the Winn Dixie my grandpa worked at got held up a couple of times but nothing as bad what you mentioned although i did leave when i was around 11. its amazing the perception that people that dont live here get of Miami. they think the only crime we have here is caused by some rich a** Cuban in his fancy mansion, other than that its all sun and the beach
