August 29, 200619 yr Wily Mo will definitely be back. Carlos Pena, who knows. No way Lopez will be back. Hinske could return but I almost guarantee he will be offered in a variety of trade packages in the off-season.

August 29, 200619 yr I can see Hinske staying for a while he's done very well for them in their recent bad stretch. I'm actually not too sure about Wily Mo. I think that a lot of people are frusterated with his defense, which hasn't been average by any stretch, plus they'd rather have Trot Nixon out there. Wily Mo deserves to play every day, and he wont do that with a healthy Trot Nixon. I say deal him for bullpen or SP help, they have more people cycling in and out of those spots than the Yankees.
August 29, 200619 yr Trot is a free agent and doesn't have anywhere near the bat and if his defense is an upgrade its incredibly small and not enough to warrant starting him over Pena who is 24 and has an enormous upside. Trot may come back as a platoon but I wouldn't be suprised if he takes more money elsewhere in his first stab at free agency. The FO values Wily Mo alot.
